Rice Lake is situated at the intersection of U.S. Highway 53 and State Highway 48; about 55 miles north of Eau Claire and about 100 miles east of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Our many lakes offer great recreation and relaxation. There are several golf courses in the area with Rice Lake offering 2, Turtleback Golf and LynnDale. Snow turns the area into a winter wonderland. Our winter temperatures are ideal for sking, snowmobiling or ice fishing.

Lakeview Medical Center is an independent, nonprofit, 75-bed community hospital that serves northwest Wisconsin. No other area hospital offers the number of full-time, resident doctors and specialists that Lakeview has on its staff.
